How I Discovered Wealthy Affiliate

I started affiliate marketing back in 2009 and went full-time in 2011. While Wealthy Affiliate existed back then, I had never heard of them and used other training tools to learn how to make money with affiliate marketing.

It wasn’t until after I started this website in 2014 that I discovered Wealthy Affiliate even existed. Let me explain…

I created this website with the intent to create my very own affiliate marketer training program. I actually DID have a training program up on this site for a while, but I wasn’t pleased with the quality and it needed to be updated far too frequently. I just couldn’t keep up with it.

That’s when I decided I was going to just partner up with the best affiliate marketing training program and simply collect a commission for referring people instead of having the hassle of running my own training program. It took me a total of 3 years of experimenting with various affiliate training programs to finally settle on Wealthy Affiliate.

I performed many other experiments with sites like Solo Build It! and Affilorama, but in the end, Wealthy Affiliate performed the best.

By “performed the best” I mean that on several fronts. First, I saw my referrals succeeding much more frequently when using Wealthy Affiliate as compared to any other program out there. And because of that, my commissions ended up being higher since Wealthy Affiliate pays their affiliate marketers residual incomes.

How I Personally Make Money With Wealthy Affiliate

First, I’m going to show you how I personally make money with Wealthy Affiliate. However, I encourage you to keep reading because they way that I personally make money with Wealthy Affiliate is probably not the best way for YOU to make money with Wealthy Affiliate.

In short, I personally promote Wealthy Affiliate to earn commissions. I’m an affiliate marketer for Wealthy Affiliate, so anytime I send someone to Wealthy Affiliate using my special affiliate link, and that someone makes a purchase, I earn a commission.

So how do I do it?

Well, this website is designed to rank highly in search engines for terms related to affiliate marketing, and more specifically, Wealthy Affiliate. I encourage those interested in succeeding with affiliate marketing to go through the Wealthy Affiliate training and use their tools/resources to build their first affiliate marketing site.

To simplify this entire process, here is exactly how I achieve this goal:

Step 1: Get a page like this page you’re on right now to rank highly in Google for very specific search terms.

Step 2: Encourage people to sign up for the free trial at Wealthy Affiliate, and post my affiliate links. My hope is that people will click on my affiliate link and sign up for the free trial so they can see for themselves what Wealthy Affiliate is like.

Step 3: Let Wealthy Affiliate sell itself during the free trial.

Step 4: On average, 1 in 8 of my free referrals signs up for a premium paid account, at which point I earn a commission!

How YOU Can Make Money With Wealthy Affiliate

Here’s the thing about Wealthy Affiliate – you shouldn’t really join up with Wealthy Affiliate for the sole purpose of promoting Wealthy Affiliate. Sure, Wealthy Affiliate offers a fantastic affiliate program that I personally use to earn some pretty good money, as I’ve shown, but if you are totally new to Wealthy Affiliate I suggest you use their program to make money a different way.

Wealthy Affiliate is a services that teaches people how to become affiliate marketers. There are ENDLESS ways to make money online with affiliate marketing. In fact, Wealthy Affiliate is one of more than 2 dozen affiliate partnershps that I have with various companies across about 2 dozen affiliate websites that I own.

What Wealthy Affiliate will teach you is how to find a good industry, find affiliate programs in that industry, build a website, create content that ranks highly in search engines, and convert your website visitors into ready-to-buy customers.

All the training, tools, and resources you need to grow a thriving affiliate marketing business are available right within’ Wealthy Affiliate. From registering a domain name to setting up web hosting to performing industry research and help building your first website, it’s all there at Wealthy Affiliate.

My point is, Wealthy Affiliate truly teaches you how to make mony with OTHER affiliate programs. So, you probably will never make money with Wealthy Affiliate. The goal is to use the training and tools at Wealthy Affiliate to promote any number of products and services offered on the web. The number of affiliate programs out there is almost endless.

If you do choose to create a website that promotes Wealthy Affiliate, you can certainly earn a full-time living from that, but I highly suggest following the Wealthy Affiliate training and coming up with a niche industry that you truly enjoy teaching others about.

It Takes Time And Effort To Make Money With Wealthy Affiliate

Whether you decide to promote Wealthy Affiliate or promote a product or service in an entirely different niche, it simply takes time to make money online if you want to grow a real, long-term, and sustainable business through affiliate marketing. Wealthy Affiliate Does Not Teach Get Rich Quick Strategies

A lot of people who join up with Wealthy Affiliate join with incorrect expectations. Wealthy Affiliate does not teach a get rich quick business model. Instead, Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to build a long-term and sustainable business. The is honestly a lot to learn, and if you’re not prepared to spend months building up your business and learning everything you need to learn, it’s not worth paying a single penny to Wealthy Affiliate.

But, if you’re sick of all the scammy get rich quick programs and promises of fast easy cash on “autopilot”, then Wealthy Affiliate would be a good fit for you. This is real business. Sure, everything you need including all the tools and resources you’ll ever need is all in one place, but it’s up to you to put in the work and effort.

Reading reviews about Wealthy Affiliate is a waste of time. The VAST majority of the results you’ll see are from affiliate marketers just like me, trying to earn a commission from you. The majority of Wealthy Affiliate reviews you’ll find are biased, even if you search for things like Wealthy Affiliate Scam or Wealthy Affiliate Complaints. The search results are going to mostly consist of sales pitches. Wealthy Affiliate does teach us how to rank highly in search, afterall!

My advice? Just sign up for the FREE Wealthy Affiliate account. You don’t need to enter any payment info, and if you’re super paranoid about spam, just use a fake email address to try it out. Instead of reading what bias people like me think about Wealthy Affiliate, just find out for yourself.

Rest assured, knowing how to make money with Wealthy Affiliate can only be understood after you sign up. After a couple of days during your free trial, you’ll get the hang of how it all works. Then, and only then, can you make a real decision about signing up for a paid account.
